    Pumpkin Tart recipe



    Ingredients

    2 cups flour
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    3/4 cup butter, cubed
    2 tablespoons iced water
    1 egg (beaten) + 2 tablespoons milk

    For the pumpkin mixture:
    2 eggs
    1 tablespoon butter, soft
    1 tablespoon honey
    1 cup condensed milk
    1 cup heavy cream
    3 cups mashed pumpkin
    1/2 cup flour
    3/4 cup raisins
    1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

    Method

    - Combine flour, sugar and salt in a bowl of electric mixer at low speed.
    - Add butter, iced water, knead until soft dough achieved.
    - Flip dough on a floured surface, roll into rectangle.
    - Shape dough into leaves by using a leaf cutter (or by knife tip).
    - Draw lines on each leaf as shown in the picture.
    - Preheat oven to 170 degree Celsius
    - Butter round over dish.
    - Cream eggs with butter in a bowl.
    - Whisk in honey, condensed milk and heavy cream.
    - Add remaining ingredients and stir to combine.
    - Spread pumpkin mixture on the prepared dish.
    - Distribute the leaves on top of the mixture, brush with egg wash.
    - Bake in the over for about 45 minutes or until golden brown
    - Cool before serving and garnish with crushed walnut.
