    Chicken Calzone Recipe

      Chicken Calzone Recipe
        3 dash hot sauce, optional
        1 package Pillsbury® Grands!® biscuits
        fresh basil
        12 ounces seasoned tomato sauce
        16 slices mozzarella cheese, fresh
        sea salt, to taste
        22 ounces Grilled & Ready® Chicken Chunks
        6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
        1/2 teaspoon oregano

     Chicken Calzone Recipe
    Cooking Instructions

        Prepare Grilled & Ready Chicken Strips according to package directions.  Chop into pieces when prepared.
        Preheat oven to 350°F.
        Take each biscuit and flatten out to 5" round.
        In a small bowl mix the olive oil, oregano and hot sauce if desired.  Brush each biscuit with the seasoned olive oil.
        Layer on one 1/2 of the round biscuit 1-2 basil leaves, 2 tablespoons of tomato sauce, 2 slices of mozzarella and top with chicken.
        Fold side over all the ingredients and crimp with a fork. Brush top of calzone with seasoned olive oil and sprinkle with sea salt.
        Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
