    Ingredients
100g slivered almonds
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    6kg full leg ham
    350g jar apricot conserve
    1 cup sweet sherry
  


Almond-glazed ham Recipe
    Method

    Step 1

    Place apricot conserve, sherry, almonds, cinnamon and 1/2 cup of water into a small saucepan and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 mins.
    Step 2

    Preheat oven to 160C or 140C fan. Remove the rind and score the fat beneath.
    Step 3

    Transfer ham to a large baking pan. Glaze and bake for 1.5 hrs basting every 30 mins. (Cover with foil after 1 hr if it starts to colour too much.)
