        Ingredients

        140g packet Werther's Originals hard toffees
        400g good-quality milk chocolate, chopped
        1/3 cup thickened cream
        1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
        50g good-quality dark chocolate, chopped

     Toffee truffles Recipe
        Method
        Step 1

        Place toffees in a food processor. Process to fine crumbs. Follow step 1 of Basic truffle recipe (see related recipe), replacing dark chocolate with 200g milk chocolate. Stir toffee through chocolate mixture.
        Step 2

        Follow step 2 of Basic truffle recipe (see related recipe). Freeze until firm.
        Step 3

        Follow step 3 of Peppermint truffles recipe (see related recipe), replacing dark chocolate with milk chocolate.
        Step 4

        Follow step 4 of Peppermint truffles recipe (see related recipe), replacing white chocolate with dark chocolate.
