Milk chocolate panforte desserts recipes
Ingredients
200g NESTLE Milk Melts, roughly chopped
100g macadamia nuts, toasted
125g brazil nuts, toasted
100g glace cherries
100g raisins, roughly chopped
100g sultanas
100g dessert figs, roughly chopped
3/4 cup plain flour
1 teaspoon mixed spice
2/3 cup honey
1/3 cup caster sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa powder, to serve

Method
Step 1
Preheat oven to180°C. Grease and line a 20cm (base) cake pan.
Step 2
Combine melts, nuts, all fruit, flour and spice in a bowl. Make a well in the centre.
Step 3
Heat honey and sugar in a saucepan over low heat, stirring, for 5 minutes, or until sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil without stirring. Reduce heat to low. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Step 4
Pour honey mixture into fruit mixture. Stir quickly to combine. Press into cake pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted into the centre comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in pan.
Step 5
Slice panforte. Dust with cocoa. Serve.
