    Creamy potatoes with cheese recipe


    1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
    1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
    3 large potatoes, peeled
    Oil for frying
    1/2 cup whipping cream
    salt and pepper
    cheddar cheese, sliced


    - Combine shredded cheese in a bowl, set aside.
    - Slice potatoes; fry for 5 minutes or until golden.
    - Lift on kitchen towel to get rid of excess oil.
    - Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
    - Grease oven tray with oil, arrange potato slices, top with cheese mixture, add layer of potatoes and top again with a layer of cheese mixture.
    - Place another potato layer, pour some whipping cream, season with salt and pepper.
    - Cover with cheddar cheese slice or remaining cheese mixture.
    - Repeat previous steps with remaining potato slices and cheese.
    - Place in oven for about 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese melts.
