    Magboos spices recipe


    2 dried lemons (Lumi)
    2 cinnamon sticks
    5 cloves
    4 cardamom seeds
    1 cup onion, chopped
    1 cup diced tomatoes


    • Toast the spices in a heavy pan with some oil, over medium heat until fragrant.
    • Add onions and tomatoes, stir and cover, let it simmer for 15 minutes to combine flavors.
    • Add the adequate amount of water to cook rice and meat.
    N.B (Magboos could be prepared with meat, chicken or fish)
