Ingredients:
1, 5 kg beef ribs
2 tsp sunflower oil
For marinade:
500 ml hot ketchup
250 ml light beer
Lemon juice (1 lemon)
2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
3 onions (chopped or grinded)
4 gloves chopped garlic
3 tsp brown sugar
2 tsp ground cumin
½ tsp ground ginger
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
For this meal the most important of
all is the marinade. To prepare it take one bowl and mix the ketchup,
beer, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, brown sugar,
cumin and ginger. Wash and clean the meat from all the fat and dry it
with a hand towel and than put it in the marinade roll a few times in it
to take the flavors and let it in the bowl with marinade covered with
plastic foil all night. It’s better to stay in the marinade for 2 days.
Take the meat out from the bowl and save some of the leftover marinade.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the meat until it gets brown color from all the sides. Put the meat in a baking pan (be a wear to cover with aluminum foil from all sides).
Coat the meat with the leftover marinade and add 1 dl water in the
baking pan and cover with foil. Bake for 2 ½ hours on 160 Celsius
degrees until the meat is soften. While the baking, If it’s necessary
and the sauce is too heavy, add more water (1 dl).
Take the meat from the oven and let it rest for 15 min but do not
remove the foil. After the Tout the meat and cut it to strips and remove
the bones. On top of the meat pour some more of the sauce and bake 10
more min. serve it while it’s hot with salad, potatoes and lemon.
