Ingredients
1 cup yogurt
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tablespoons mustard
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg, freshly grated
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice
salt and pepper
1 kg chicken pieces,(skinless and boneless)
pita bread/grilled vegetables/fresh herbs for garnish

Method
- Combine all ingredients (expect chicken) in a bowl, season with salt and pepper.
- Add chicken pieces and mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (stir from time to time )
- Prepare charcoal grill.
- Place chicken pieces into metal skewers.
- Arrange skewers on the top of the grill rack.
- Grill for about 10 minutes per side.
- Serve Shish Tawouk on top of pita bread and grilled vegetables.
- Garnish with fresh herbs.
- Add chicken pieces and mix well.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours (stir from time to time )
- Prepare charcoal grill.
- Place chicken pieces into metal skewers.
- Arrange skewers on the top of the grill rack.
- Grill for about 10 minutes per side.
- Serve Shish Tawouk on top of pita bread and grilled vegetables.
- Garnish with fresh herbs.
