2-3 cups vegetables (your choice of vegetables cut into small cubes)*

2 Garlic cloves (minced)
1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
Black pepper , cumin, ginger, 7 spices (to taste)

*I usually add artichokes, carrots, green beans, and peas.

1. Heat a nonstick pot over medium heat, add the oil, garlic,
scallions, and vegetables and saute until the vegetables are
softened.
2. Add the Freek and stir to mix the vegetables with it.
3. Pour the broth and spices.
4. Reduce the heat to very low, give the freek a very thorough stir, and cover the pot. Cook until the freek and the vegetables are tender, about 15-20 minutes.
5. Transfer to a serving bowl
