Ingredients:
• For the dough:
• 4 eggs
• 2 cups sugar
• 1 cup oil
• 1 cup milk
• 2 cups wheat flour
• 1½ cups poppy seed
• ½ baking powder
For the coating:
• 4 tsp of apricot liqueur
• 4 tsp water
• 3 tsp apricot jam
Preparation
Preparation time: 90 minutes
With an electric mixer, mix egg and oil foamy. Gradually stir the sugar and poppy seeds that have previously grinded. Alternately add flour mixed with baking powder and milk, stirring constantly.
Pour batter into a greased and floured baking casserole (18 × 32 cm) and bake for about 50 minutes at 180 °C. Fried dough in half still warm and leave to cool.
Mix the apricot liqueur with water and soak chilled dough. Melt 3 tablespoons of jam with a little water and apply one half of the dough and cover with the other half.
Again brush with jam and pour chocolate glaze.
