    Chocolate pudding Recipe

        2 cups (500ml) milk
        125g dark chocolate, chopped
        30g butter
        2 eggs
        1/3 cup brown sugar
        2 tablespoons brandy (optional)
        1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
        200g breadcrumbs
        Double cream or ice cream, to serve

    Chocolate pudding Recipe

        Step 1

        Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease 6 x 200ml ovenproof dishes. Place milk, chocolate and butter in a medium saucepan. Heat over medium heat until chocolate and butter have melted. Cool.
        Step 2

        Beat eggs, sugar, brandy and cinnamon together with electric beaters until pale and very thick. Fold in chocolate mixture and breadcrumbs with a large metal spoon.
        Step 3

        Divide evenly between dishes. Sit dishes in a large, deep baking dish and place on the oven rack. Pour enough boiling water into the baking dish to come halfway up the sides of the dishes.
        Step 4

        Bake for 30 minutes until risen and set. Serve warm with a dollop of cream or ice cream.
