    Oatmeal with whole milk and walnuts

    Oat meal is a very healthy grain. It contains high amount of vitamin B and fibers.
    Oatmeal with whole milk raisins and walnuts

    Whole milk contains proteins, calcium and vitamin D. It is important to give your child whole milk and not skimmed milk as skimmed milk deprive the milk from many nutrients your child really need in his growth process like Vitamin D which is a key factor to precipitate calcium in your child bones and very important to his growth process. If your child is allergic to milk you can replace it with soy milk or almond milk.

    Raisins give the recipe sweet adorable taste for your child and also contain high amount of anti oxidants and vitamins like vitamin c and flavonoids. Walnuts contain high amount of healthy fats like omega 3 and you can add a tablespoon of honey to give it sweetness and extra vitamins.

    How to make it :
    Add the honey to the whole milk and mix well. Add oatmeal, raisins and walnuts. Serve immediately.
