1 tablespoon olive oil
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
300g fresh green beans, trimmed
3 bunches asparagus
50g butter, chopped
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

Method
Step 1
Heat oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic. Cook for 1 minute or until just softened (do not brown). Add beans. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes or until beans start to turn bright green. Transfer beans and garlic to a bowl.
Step 2
Add asparagus to pan. Cook for 2 to 3 minutes or until asparagus starts to turn bright green. Reduce heat to low. Return beans and garlic to pan. Add butter and chives. Cook for 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Season with salt and pepper. Serve.
