    Garam Masala recipe


    ½ tsp cardamom seeds
    ½ tsp cumin seeds
    ½ tsp coriander seeds
    ½ tsp black pepper corns
    ½ tsp cloves
    3 cinnamon sticks
    1/8 tsp nutmeg, powder


    • Toast spices (except nutmeg) in a skillet over medium heat, until fragrant, shaking sporadically.
    • Let cool, grind spices in a mortar or electric spice grinder to a medium coarse powder, add nutmeg and mix.
