Ingredients
250g fresh or frozen, thawed cranberries
1L (4 cups) vodka
3/4 cup (165g) caster sugar
1 vanilla bean, split, seeds scraped

Step 1
Prick cranberries all over with a pin. Place in a 2L (8-cup) sterilised jar (see notes). Add vodka, sugar and vanilla pod and seeds. Seal and set aside in a cool, dark place for 2 weeks, shaking every day. Strain into sterilised bottles (see notes), then serve.
